I have some student loans and I fell behind because I lost my job about 9 months ago and just got started at my new place. I got a call at work from a collector and he said you will be garnished if you do not pay. I'm already living hand to mouth and can't afford to be garnished. I came across this website. www.studentloanfundamentals.com and this so called "rogue collector" is telling me it can be stopped.
Has anyone stopped a garnishment from there student loan? They said I have to respond back by Wednesday next week.
