So I live in Canada i've been wanting to buy a Creative Zen 8GB or 16GB for a while now. And I've been looking and you can't buy them in any stores in Canada, not Best Buy, Future Shop, nowhere. I've been on the Creative website and when you order from the website it goes through amazon.com. When my dad tried to order it though it didn't work and he said apparently there are import laws in Canada that make it impossible for you to buy an electronic from the u.s and have it shipped up to Canada.
He said that our aunt that lives down in California could order it, have it shipped to her house and then have it be shipped up here to Canada by UPS. So I'm wondering, wouldn't that be the same thing as not being able to order it from the u.s on the website and have it shipped up here? Like, are electronics able to be shipped to Canada from the u.s?? Are there import laws that says you can't? If someone could tell me I would really really appreciate it!
