Can you request which military base you want to deploy to?

I'm thinking about joining the military and I've done a bit of research but I'm wondering if it's possible to request which base you want to go to... For instance, I want to be stationed in Washington or Oregon... Is it possible to request that I get stationed there after boot camp?
