Can you request a no contact order once you are out of the Army?

I am currently serving in the Army and am almost 8 months pregnant. There is a violent history with the baby's father and recently I have put in a request for a no contact order. I have 2 weeks left in the Army. I'm afraid that once I get out then the command will just lift the no contact order and I'll be right back at square one. Even though I'm a civilian can I still request a no contact order if he is still in the military?

Take your no contact order to the nearest civilian court and file a restraining order. They will be more likely to grant you one if they see it has been done through the military prior to your request now. If your baby's father is still in the military talk to his commander and ask that it still be in place for him so if he doesn't abide by the order then he will be in trouble but still try to get a restraining order, good luck hun!
