And don't start listing random sh-t. I have pretty serious taste in anime. Based on what some of the series I have seen, what do you think I might like?
I've seen(and really liked)
-Death Note
-Elfen Lied
-Hellsing
-Higurashi no Nako Koro Ni
-(I'm working on Jigoku Shoujo)
I'm okay with light humor, but it I sure as hell do not want a comedy. If it's dark humor though, that's perfectly fine and well. I like yuri, yaoi is okay, but the main series needs to fit my tastes. Nothing samurai/ninja-based(ahem, Bleach, Inyuasha, Naruto...).
It's okay if things get pretty weird(maybe not as much as Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, but still). I'm flexible with that. It just needs to make sense.

*Facepalm* No. That's not what I meant. I'm just saying it's okay if it has sub-themes of them both, because some people refuse to watch anime if it has yuri or yaoi. I'm gay, so I'll obviously be okay with yuri. I'll *tolerate* yaoi.
