I can only retain you on a contingency basis however the potential for attorney fees + punitive damages is almost guaranteed. (The case would be the jurisdiction of Superior Court, Rancho Cucamonga)
My ex girlfriend/Loan Borrower had borrowed a large sum of money from me that was to have repaid already. She has intentionally breached her 5th "modified" loan agreement with me through acts of fraud, misrepresentation. I have a $200k promissory note on her home that includes a clause for attorney fees & 10% interest if note wasn't paid by August 1 2009 (yes 2009)
She is a family law attorney and knows she can possibly lose her license to practice law if sued for the 5+ cause of actions she can get nailed for since there is concrete proof she intended to breach all our loan agreements and had coerced me to sign each agreement before she would make an installment payment.
I'm done being Mr. Nice Guy but she's assuming & hoping i can't afford to retain an attorney since she has all my money tied up She has assets & will most likely want to settle vs risk disbarment.
If you're an attorney or someone referring an attorney please reply with their full name so I can confirm their status on the Calif Bar website. Thanks
