Can you recommend any good books?

I like books that are written in first person, and don't have an excessive amount of dialogue. Any genre.
Ex. 'Angela's Ashes', 'The Reader', 'Catcher in the Rye'
 
The Outsiders is AMAZING...my very favorite book actually. I love it so much I've read it four times. If you haven't read it, you should. It's realistic and occasionally witty, but also really sad.
 
I thought Speak, by Laurie Halse Anderson was a very good read. Suitable for early adulthood or teenagers. These are probably a bit too young but it's worth checking it out.
