Can you recommend any good books that have storylines in or about the Middle East?

The only books I've read that are like this are The Kite Runner, The Places In Between, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Three Cups of Tea. What else can you recommend? Anything dealing with India especially, but other countries are fine too.
