Can you reccommend a good book/programme for learning a language? (preferably latvian)?

I go to beautiful Latvia every summer for weeks to work on children's camps and I really want to learn the language as all I know is insults lol (to say to my English friends, of course)

Do you know any good software or books that will help me do this and be able to pronounce the words well, as I find this difficult.

Thanks for any help- if you know a good language pack, even if it's not latvian, that would still be really helpful as I can then see if they do Latvian :)
