Can you put rogers firmware onto an unlocked phone?

i have an unlocked phone and I've tried everything to get the wap to work, I've called rogers gotten all the info on how to set browser settings, and still when i try to connect it doesn't work. So i thought maybe if i could load rogers firmware onto the unlocked phone and make it locked to rogers it might work. I don't really know, but I'm hoping it will work, or that someone will help me. Thanks.
 
DO NOT do what you're planning to do. most people try and undo what rogers did. there can be a number of things wrong, so i can't help you, but i suggest that you don't brand it to rogers and definately don't lock it.
