Can you put a PS1 game on your PSP by using the internet browser on the Psp?

My friend told me that her brother was downloading games from the internet browser on his Psp and I wanted to know if this really is possible, and if it is, what sites can I download the games from without any viruses?
 
Uhm... with an emulator you can do it illegally, yes. It's pretty unstable and buggy and slow though.

There were some official thing through PS3 though I think, and maybe through its downloader, but I don't have a PS3 to actually know.
