Can you put a Dodge ram 2500 transmisison in a Dodge ram 1500?

I need the extra power to pull a 5th wheel camper. I felt my transmission slipping on the way home. It pulled fine great on the way there, but I guess over heated on the way home. Is a new transmission my best option?
 
I'd imagine no, but check the transmission model and the bolts compared to the 1500 before you want to try.
