Can you put a different carburetter on this Chrysler?

Hey I bought an old 1981 Chrysler Valiant with a 265ci (4.3L) slant six hemi. It has an average carburetter called a Carter but I want something with more power like a holley. Would I be able to do it to this straight six engine and if I can what would be the best carbi to put on.
 
Here is a website that has performance parts for your slant 6. They are Clifford Performance 6=8. They have been around for a long time and are THE source for inline 6 cylinder performance parts.
