...is it (step by step)? Ive got a 2001 engine and tranny from a wrecked p71 and i want to know the process of swapping it into a 2003 p71 model and if there compatible. Thank you very much for your time and help.
 
Lol your gonna need a whole book man, its not simple to do an engine swap. No one will be able to fully explain that on here, its too hard and time consuming. Thats something you have to learn at a school or from books, you wont get a step by step answer here its too complicated.
 
well I hope you got the wiring harness and the computer for the p1 and if you have smog, the engine is likely o fail. you need to go newer, not older, and the computer for the 01 may not work right with the 03 newer models typically have computer upgrades that are not necessarily compatible year to year. did you ask the wrecking yard? they should know exactly what you need adn hooked you up with that beforehand. best of luck I hope it works out. please do some more research.
