I have been looking for a vintage bike on Craigslist for commuting. I like a lot of the bikes that I have found but I'm 4' 11" and I don't think I can ride a bike with 26" tires considering my leg length is just about 27". Could I buy 24" tires and replace the 26" tires? Would that even make a significant difference to how large the bike is?
Can you put 24" tires on an old bike with 26" tires?
