Can you program a different brand keyless entry remote for a Honda?

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX-L that I bought used without the keyless entry remotes. The new replacements are like $50 and the used are $15+. I have a remote for a 2003 Saturn Ion and I was wondering if you could program this remote for the Honda.
