I just bought a new Sony stereo because my old RCA one stopped working. However, the old speakers still work, and I was curious if I could just plug those in along side the new ones in the same little black & red clips (don't know the technical term...I would basically be doubling up the wires). Of course, putting black with black & the red with red wires. Is that safe? Would it damage my new stereo?
