Can you please tell me if you think my ice cream is still good and safe to eat.........?

I bought a gallon of ice cream at the store yesterday and it was the last thing I put in my cart. By the time I waited in line,got rung up and went home the ice cream was a bit melted. I could tell because it was coming out if the sides a bit. I put it in the freezer as soon as I got home but I am still wondering if it still fine for me and my kids to eat?
 
Yes it is fine, when it is completely melted and sat there for hours, it should be thrown out. They don't expect it to be frozen solid from the store to home.
