I've been sitting at my desk for hours trying to decide if my main character should be a centaur (half-horse, half-human) or satyr (half-human, half-goat). She will be female.
The pros of a satyr- she hide her secret, which is good for going to school a bit easier than she can as a centaur.
The cons- people can't ride her back
The pros of a centaur- people can ride her back which will be good for the final battle
The cons- it'll be a lot harder to keep her secret.
