No individual nor species can exist in isolation. Plants provide food and oxygen for animals; animals provide carbon dioxide and food for plants. Animals depend on each other for a variety of things. The food web is a model of how animals and plants relate to each other, but it is, at best, incomplete. Where would you fit into a food web?
Likewise, how many other animals have only one source of food? Why is having multiple sources of food an evolutionary advantage? How have humans changed the relationships of animals and plants to us and to each other by domestication?
