I just made a deal from a private seller whose selling his mustang and his lease is up soon and so he wants to pay it off and sell it to me. We made a deal on the price and now I'm trying to find out how were going to do this. I was going to call him and tell him I will go with him to pay the lease and get my title on it and everything so it goes over smoothly no scam. My main Question is for a mustang you got brand new leased can you go to any ford dealer near you to pay off the lease or do you have to go to the place where you bought it cause i live in NJ and the car fax said it was leased in MD and I don't know if I want to do this if I have to drive all the way there with him and if he wants to send the check to them.
