I have an acrylic-based impasto medium, but I would like to use oil-based paint over the impasto. Is it possible to do this successfully or will I be wasting my time and the product? Additionally, I am curious if something such as spackle could be used as a textural medium with oils in order to save a little money? Thank you for your help.
