A criminal case seems it takes a lot more to prove, not to mention Dekalb county didn't go about processing the car correctly, and I would have to pay about $200 to get the car re-impounded and for the stuff to be processed. I would just prefer to go to civil court, but do I have to press charges against the person criminally, in order to file a claim civilly?
