Hello,
I'm almost to the point where I can move out to my own apartment. During lunch today I went with a friend and he is doing the same; he turned in the papers to sign the lease and all that good stuff.
The problem is that they wanted 2 recent pay stubs to prove his employment status or whatever it is. Now this isn't a problem so much as that I'm unemployed or anything, but I'm soon planning on quitting my "steady" job and begin doing either freelance or working for myself.
By doing this I likely won't have a "steady" source of income or perhaps even a pay stub. Assuming that I am doing well financially though, would I not be able to get an apartment just because I don't have a pay stub or work for a company?
Thanks for your time,
Adam Lawton
