I guess this is kind of like "can i lose belly fat without losing muscle/weight (because "losing weight" is well, technically losing fat, muscle, and water..right?) I lost quite a bit of weight over the summer. More than i needed to and was close to be being under weight. I guess you could say I've been in a "bulking" phase sinse November. Eating more (getting plenty of protein), lifting weights, doing leg weights and abdominals too. Except.. I'm 13, i'm a girl, still growing, probably haven't gained a toooon of muscle (because i shouldnt even lift heavy weights to begin with), and am no body builder. So I'm gaining fat along with the muscle and some is going to my stomach. I'm wondering, once i reach that final goal weight, is there any way to lose belly fat without cutting? because all i've read is that after you "bulk" you "cut" but you make sure you eat lots of protein to avoid too much muscle loss.. but like i said i'm not a body builder and my fear is to cut and then just lose the weight again (muscle) wich is not what i want... i dont know if this makes sense, but any help would be great. thanks
