Can you list all the cartoon series in the 2000s?

I think its that time again to pull out my work-in-progress project!

Over the last, wow, 3 years now, I've pulled out my Google Spreadsheet and asked for help from the rabroad community to help list all cartoons broadcast in the US in each decade.

The idea of this spreadsheet is to make it the most comprehensive listing of animation broadcast in the United States.

This time around, I am looking for help filling in TV shows that were broadcast during the 2000s in the US.

The 2000s is where its going to get a little strange. Since streaming media has gotten really big in the US over the last 10 years, this time around I am looking for series that were either broadcast on the TV or streamed legally through services such as Youtube, Hulu or Chrunyroll.

This spreadsheet has remained accessible and downloadable for all visitors since 8/1/2007 and will continue to be so.

If you would like to help, check out the spreadsheet to ensure the series you'd like to submit isn't already on it.

The information I am looking for from each series is:
- Series Name
- Genre
- Rating
- Format
- Premier (Day)
- Broadcast Network
- Premier Date
- Finale Date
- Publisher
- Seasons
- Episodes
- Wikipedia Entry
- TV.com Entry

There's no way I can list all of them, but I can tell you for certain the following are missing.

Transformers Armada
Transformers Energon
Transformers Cybertron
GI Joe Sigma Six

With the exception of Sigma Six, which was solely Saturday premieres on 4Kids TV, it is difficult to provide airing dates of the week for the rest of those series. Armada started on Friday's on Toonami and ended on Saturday's on Toonami. Energon started on Saturday's on Toonami but ended up moving to weekday premieres. Cybertron was Fridays/ Saturdays on CN but ended up moving to WB weekdays before moving back to CN. I can tell you all of them were TV Y7, and all of them do have Wikipedia and TV.com pages.

I could be mistaken, but I don't recall seeing the newer He-Man and the Masters of the Universe listed either. CN has had so many shows premiere during that time, including Justice League and JLU, that it would be extremely difficult to compile it all into one list, especially if you're doing every network.

Let's see, there's Kim Possible. I didn't see it on your chart.

Kim Possible's genres are comedy, action/adventure, and later on, some romance. It got TV-G the whole run, and premier episodes aired on Disney Channel, although reruns aired on ABC Kids and Toon Disney/Disney XD. The first episode aired June 7, 2002, and the final episode aired Septembr 7, 2007. It had four seasons and 87 episodes. This is the Wikipedia entry. I don't know the rest.

Another show is Naruto. It''s genres are action/adventure and fantasy. It had a few ratings (TV-PG-V, TV-PG V,D, TV-PG-D, etc). It first premiered in the US September 10, 2005. It aired on Cartoon Network, in both the normal schedule and the Toonami block. It has 9 "Seasons" and 220 episodes. Here is the Wikipedia entry.

Another animated series is Bleach. The genres are action/adventure and supernatural fantasy. It also has various ratings (TV-PG-V, TV-14-V, TV-14-V,L etc). It first premiered in the US on September 8, 2006, and it airs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. It is still ongoing with 319 episodes. Here is the Wikipedia entry.

Another one I don't see on the chart is IGPX. The genres are sci-fi and racing/sports action. I believe it was rated TV-PG, but I am not 100% sure on this/ It first aired in the US sometime in 2005, and aired on Cartoon Network in both the normal hours and the Toonami block. It had two seasons with 26 episodes. Here is the Wikipedia entry.

There is a list of the CN shows here. It is broken out by originals and acquisitions. It also shows those that are currently airing and what the start and stop date of the originals is. It does list the live action shows and the mixed live/ animated shows (Zixx and Jimmy). It gives you a long list to work with though, and that doesn't include Nick, Disney, Jetix, 4Kids TV, or Kids WB!

CN -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Cartoon_Network

The Nick list can be found here. Again this includes the live action shows, but almost any list you find will include the live action, Like CW4Kids will include Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight and Disney will include the various Power rangers series.

Nick- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Nickelodeon

CW4Kids- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CW4Kids

4Kids TV/ Fox Box- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4Kids_TV

Kids WB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Kids%27_WB

Fox Kids- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Fox_Kids

Jetix (both ABC Family & Toon Disney)- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Jetix_in_the_US

Just out of curiosity, should shows that aired in 2010 really be considered 00's shows? Because isn't 2010 the start of a new decade?

No they shouldn't.

The 2000s section will go from 1/1/2000 to 12/31/2009.

@ bigddan11, Thanks for the links. I'll get to lists after I give people a chance to weight in =).

I usually like to give everyone a chance to throw in series they personally like first before I go nuts with lists.

Those links are helpful though =).
