I recently worked in a wireless store. Explaining all the contracts, qualifying for additional warranties, and review were taking me too long. I would end up getting terrible customer reviews. Not all sales were like that. I even got some great feedback, however the ones that were bad really brought down my performance statistics. I know I can do well in shorter sales cycles, or even long term account management.
I LOVE working with numbers, people, and planning. I would even love to continue with training in sales. It's a great challenge and I'm enthusiastic about learning. It's just this job was commission based and it really sucked the life out of me to get a bad review. Do you think I would still be a good fit for a teller position with prospects of becoming a financial planner?
Also how should I explain my leaving the previous job...
