Can you know the sex of the baby at 13 weeks?

Yeah, I think the sex organs are visible with an ultrasound by week 12, but the readings aren't 100% accurate because the parts are still very small. By weeks 18 and on it's much easier to determine the sex, but I think most doctors like to wait until around week 20 to find out the sex.

My first baby is 4 months old and when i was pregnant my doctor told me that u can tell the best between 20 and 24 weeks.
nope sorry. I know it is so hard to wait. about 16 weeks is the earliest i know of and even then they can not tell 100%
i had to have an ultrasound when i was 16 weeks because they could not find the heartbeat and the dr. said he would guess it was a girl but only giving about a 60% chance that he was right. it was confirmed at 20 weeks so in that case he was right however they will probably make you wait till 20 to 22 weeks before they do the ultrasound because then everything is fully formed and they are more accurate. good luck

yes you can find out what babies sex is at 13 weeks....but usually takes a very very experienced dr, one who does trans nuchal ultrasounds!
