A couple years ago i received a bs UPM for being in the wrong place at the wrong time by a cop who was obviously having a bad day. I was sent to a drug class because of it (even though it was my first and only offence for less than .5 g of weed, not even a parking ticket on my record prior) and the UPM was ACD'd after 1 year and there have been no charges since. I was wondering whether the UPM would prevent me from joining the US army? I am currently planning on attending the PLC for the marines which would set me up to be an Officer in the Marines upon graduation from college, but i was wondering whether I still have the option of joining the Army.
