can you join the army as a cavalry scout if you are red-green colorblind?

when i take those color blind test with the dots, i cant see a damn thing, but i can easily distinguish red and green colors in real life, and it is almost never a problem...
 
No. If you are red green color blind the army gives you 5 MOS choices (as of feburary of 2006). I can't remember them all but the ones I can remember where
1. Radio operator maintainer
2. seamstress
3. Pumping gas
4. Laundry facility technician
5. ???
