Can you iron-on any image on a T-shirt?

Hello! I iron-on images onto lots of shirts to make for my family, depending on what they like. However, I am starting to wonder whether this is illegal or anything? Because images are so easy to access on the internet nowadays, you can get images of virtually everything, even copyrighted logos such as the Los Angeles Lakers. Can you steal images off the internet, print them on iron-on transfer paper, and then just iron it on to your shirt? Or can I iron-on virtually any image, as long as it's on the internet, and make tons of my favorite T-shirts?
