Can you install a Sony CXS-GT09HP in a Mazda Protege?

I have a stereo system my dad bought me for my car, and the instructions say that it can not be installed in some Japanese cars. I have a '99 Mazda Protege. I was wondering if it would be able to be installed in my car. It is a SONY Xplod CXS-GT09HP Front AUX MP3 Selectable Sub Out EQ3 stage2 24bit DAC. That's what it says on the box. Can anyone help me out?

check ebay for cheaper prices this is just to show it's compatible with your car
 
it can be put into any car. but you would need a mounting kit where it will make it fit into your car. goto best buy or some kind of electronic store and ask for a mounting kit for your car or search online.

if u need any adapter they'll have it. But if it's too wide then yes it may not fit smoothly. but ANYTHING is possible.
