Can you hook up Stereo Headphones to HDTV if so how?

Late at night I like to watch TV Shows on my HDTV and sometimes I would like to turn up the volume a bit, but I do not want to disturb my neighbors in my Apartment (that isn't sound proof). I have stereo headphones but no way to hook it up with audio jacks to plug it in my HDTV. Does anyone knows what audio jack adapter I can buy online?
