I need to know which technique you would use to solve this problem (don't need it solved, just the technique). I have an exam tomorrow, and am stuck on this review question:
Four hundred households in a city are surveyed. Each household is classified as having a low, medium or high degree of environmental awareness. As well, it is known whether or not a household participates in a blue box recycling program. Using this data, researchers want to test for a significant relationship between environmental awareness and blue box participation.
I also have to give the following, but am not totally sure on them all:
# of cases: 400
Variable Names: Environmental awareness, Blue box participation
Measurement Scale: Ordinal - Weak, Nominal
Value Labels (if applicable): [1: uses blue box], [2: doesn't use blue box]
Please Help?
