Can you help settle this debate between friends?

Three friends and I are planning our summer vacation. We usually spend time within a bigger group of friends- 12 of us vacationed together last summer.
The debate is, we don't plan to invite anyone else this year- just the four of us. However, there is one friend in particular who will probably be very hurt by our decision, though she is not as close any of us as we are to one another.
Should we invite her to spare her feelings? Or should we stick to an easier-size travel group of four?
 
I think you're thinking too much about it. You should stick to an easier-size travel group of four.
 
It depends onwhat you feel . All four of you should vote and if she is outnumbered than it is what it is.
