Can you help me name this film, please?

I watched it a few years back and it was hilarious but I can't remember it's name.
It's a comedy film about a couple who move into a house but the house it falling apart. Nothing seems to happen to the woman e.g She walks up the stairs and nothing happens but when the guy does he falls through it. He tries and fixes the house against all odRAB and they have a few marital problems along the way. It's quite old now. Has any seen it and might be able to help me name it? It was shown on TV ages ago.

Loved it when the bath falls through the floor and Tom Hanks does a mental laugh in Shelly Long's face.

It's such a coincidence that it's on Film Four weekly. It's such a great film and I recommend it to anyone who likes comedies even if they don't like Tom Hanks! To be honest I'll have to watch it again as I was quite young when I last watched it so it's hard to remember all of it.

The beest bit IMHO is - how long it will take - "two weeks" ... Got it on the DVD recently on sale after recoding it from Sky movies last September.
