Just got home. But just over a mile from my house, I started to smell something. No clue how to describe it; this car has broken down quite a few times before, and I've never smelled anything like this.
I slowed down to turn, and the car didn't want to gain any speed. I got it going over 35 MPH, and it shuttered like crazy. I drove it the last mile home, (no other option), and as I was going, I looked and saw white smoke coming out the back. It was definitely coming from the tail pipe. My first thought was possibly the radiator, but again, I'm not sure.
It died right before I got to my house, and I tried to start it up again. There was a loud pop, the car lurched forward slightly, but it didn't start, so I just had to push that thing through my grass to my driveway. I don't have a clue. I was hoping someone could possibly give me some insight before I have it towed to the shop.
