I am a single mom and work out of my home in e-retail.
My life has been a nightmare this last year! My checkbook was stolen, then my bank (WAMU), returned internet payments & payments made from my NEW account! My credit card companies shut me down because of returned payments (even with letters from the bank "Vice President"). I caught up, but then my credit cards were CLOSED, the economy had gone into the toilet, & I was forced into an all-cash business.
I had no way to make my mortgage payment. I have been trying to work it out with them (Downey) for 4 months, but to no avail and they have put my house in foreclosure.
