Can you give me some jailbreak help?

I used greenpois0n to jailbreak my friend's ipod4g 4.1. Then I tried to jailbreak my itouch3g 4.2.1 doing the same process but it won't let me to jailbreak it. What happened and what can I do to jailbreak?
