Can you get your Masters in Education if your Undergrad was in a different field?

I've considered being a teacher, but when it came down to it in college the pressure caught up to me and I simply became a Comm major. Since graduating last May, I have yet to find solid work in this economy, so I figured if i'm ever gonna do...nows the time. I was just wondering if it's possibly to get your Masters of education without a undergrad in education...if so where, and what is the best way to go about it.
 
Depends on the concentration within the M.Ed (they are not all the same). For teaching areas, such as secondary ed, then yes it's open to anybody with a bachelor's in anything, as long as you had decent grades (3.0 GPA). Certain specialized M.Ed programs such as educational administration require teaching experience to apply.

Any university system out there will have an education college so just look around for something near you. State schools are the most attractive so you pay only in-state tuition.
