Can you get into a GOOD law school with a high LSAT, Low GPA, and lots of experience?

I wasn't really into my degree (engineering) -- and looking back it wasn't for me. I was more interested in creating and managing organizations which taught me leadership, communication and organization skills. I also have about 10 years experience in my current career. I got a 165 on my practice LSAT so I'm pretty optimistic about getting a higher score maybe 170+ if I prepare well. Anyway I'd really like to go to UCLA or any other good law schools in socal.

Is there a way to pull this off?

Have you?

Any ideas?
I dont remember my exact gpa, but its probably like 2.8 or 2.9
Im in my late 20's with 10 years of PROFESSIONAL experience in my field (engineering)

=)

I don't think so. getting into the really good schools is highly competitive and unless you have connections into the school and have EXCELLENT scores - it is difficult at best

good luck to you though
