i work for a health insurance company in NY . i started working in october 2008 . well when i started they had me working from 11:30 to 8:00pm , despite the scheduled i was desperate to get a job , being that i had lost my other job, so i took it , well the way the described the job to me compared to when i actually got there was bull . they had me sitting in front of an excel file all day , and calling people back to back in regards to their insurance . from what i was told , i was going to be doing customer service. well anyways , the point is i proved my qualifications , and showed them that i was more qualified than sitting in front of this file doing this repetitive . they moved me to another department . About 2 months ago , they changed my schedule to 9:30 to 6:00pm. Now being that i saw they changed my schedule , i took advantage of this and enrolled myself in school so that i could finally finish my degree. all of the sudden , they call me this week , to tell me that they are going to have to change my schedule to 12:30 to 9:00pm. i explained to them that i have already enrolled myself in school for september and that i worked around my current schedule. their excuse is that we are still in june and i should be able to change my classes , but that is not the point , first it takes me 2 hrs to get to my job from where i live , so if i was to take classes in the morn , i would only be able to take like 2 or 3 classes a semester , because classes are 2 days a week, i already choose to take 5 classes for next semester and paid my deposit and everything . if i change everything , i will not be able to take the classes that i needed to take because of course in the morning there are different classes , and that is like 3 classes i have to drop , this has me so stressed , i don't know what to do , can i make a complaint to the human resources dept , this is the first company that i have ever heard of that does not understand u want to further, ur education, please , i am so stressed , i just want to finally finish , and advance , not stay stuck in the same dead end job , what are my options
