can you get bluetooth free for your computer? or do you need to buy a bluetooth dongle?

Hi I have bluetooth on my comp all you have to do is get your mobile phone and find the blue tooth on comp and start sending files too or from comp ,try sending a pic from your mobile to comp ,as you would do between 2 mobiles ,that easy .
 
i was just wondering, cus my dads laptop has bluetooth built into it.
im not talking about my dads laptop, im talking about another comp, im asking if i can get bluetooth for free or not? i was just saying that my dads laptop has it built in.
 
If it is built into the computer, then you can turn it on. I don't know what computer you have, so I guess I need more information. You can try looking in your device manager by right clicking on "Computer" and clicking "Properties". Click the "Hardware" tab and then "Device Manager". If there is a device called "Bluetooth" then just turn it on. If not, then yes, you need a dongle, sorry.
