I am not a person yet I am big and tall. Needing nothing more, then just a rain fall.

Wow, deborajah. The answer is a tree. It is not a person but it is big and tall. It needs nothing more then a rain fall. You got it all right but the first person won.
 
A tree sapling could never become a person so what's up with the tree answer? Think again peeps... i don't know the answer but someone out there i'm sure can figure it out for 10 points.
