Can you feed Tropical fish Goldfish flakes?

i saw someone ask this, and i TOO have a tub of goldfish flakes im not using... Could i possibly feed these goldfish flakes to my tropical fish? Neon tetras, Guppies, Mollies, swordtails, platies, etc.


Now, sure the PICTURE says what fish... but both are omnivore fish. Am i right?
Also, the back packaging pretty much says the same as the tropical fish food flakes... Fish meal, some other shrimp, etc...

So... can it work as an alternative?
