I tried to pass my state inspection for this year. One bad thing that definitely wasn't going to pass was that the power steering belt had some cracks. Thats fixed. The technician also noticed that when turning (usually turning a lot) it will kind of go "click, click, click" meaning it's something to do with a CV Joint. Can I still pass inspection even with the problem with CV Joints? From what I know it's an expensive fix, but it isn't one that is suppose to be a safety issue.
Can you fail your state inspection (in Texas) for bad CV joints?
