I have an Apollo mountain bike which is about 7 months old. Recently I've been on it and the chain/gears have been faulty. I took it to get it repaired but they didn't fix the problem, only tighended the brakes and other small things.
The thing is when I ride the bike my pedals somehow disengage from the rear wheels. Meaning that the pedals lose control and it's hard to ride standing up, in order to go faster, because this thing might happen. Also my chain broke today. I was going uphill and I was changing into 1st gear.
Also please tell me what I can do to prevent a chain from snapping, it's snapped twice now.
