I have a 1993 ford taurus GL 3.8L V6 automatic. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel tank about one year ago because I was having trouble with it stalling when their was very hot and humid weather. It solved the problem because I had no more stalling after I replaced it. About six months ago I was having trouble starting my car. The car started after about 15 tries. I had no more problems with it. It drove fine for the rest of the day. I hooked up a ford OBD 1 code reader and got this code:543, fuel pump secondary circuit fault. I couldn't figure out what this code meant. I had the same problem this morning when I tried to start my car to go to work. It would not start at first then after numerous tries it started up and ran fine the rest of the day. I hooked up the ford OBD 1 code reader and got the same 543 code. I can't figure out what is wrong or what this code means. What is wrong?
