yes you can, had three guys in my platoon do the very same thing.

-oh my bad did not read the whole thing, not sure about the high school part but the age is alright with parent permission.

if you enlist at 17 in the marine reserves with your parents permision can you go to boot camp at 17 then go back to school to finish senior year because i heard story of someone who wanted to graduate in his dress blues but his high school wouldnt let him i thought you had to have a high school deploma before going to boot camp could some one please clear this up for me thank you

The Marine Corps does not allow you to do this, but the Army does. You initially enlist in the reserves and go to basic in between your Junior and Senior year. You can transfer to the active component when you graduate. After you graduate, you go to AIT (advanced individual training) and earn your military occupational skill. I believe that the situation that you describes was about a young man who had an early exit from high school. He had his diploma in December and then shipped to basic in the spring. The fight was not over being to wear his uniform, rather it was that he had to put his graduation gown over it. He was allowed to wear it in the beginning of the ceremony for presentation of the flag, but he was required to be in the school's uniform of the day which was a gown. The school was trying to maintain uniformity just as the military does. I was in ROTC and on graduation day I was commissioned. Commissioning was scheduled before the graduation so I wore my uniform for commissioning and wore my gown over top of my uniform. Being a Marine, he should understand what the uniform of the day is.

Anyway, good luck.

I'm going to put a couple of sites below for you to check out.First you MUST finish High School and have Diploma IN HAND before ANY recruiter will talk to you.Parents or Guardian has to sign for Minors to enlist(under 18)Continued Education is encouraged and offered in all the Armed Forces. Before you can wear the"Blues"you must have earned the title of United States Marine. You can't go to Boot Camp, leave to Graduate High School and then come back. The Marine Corps does offer the "young Marine" program for youths up to 17.You are too old now for that.Go to Military.com and take the ASVAB test.If you can't pass it,don't bother going to a Recruiter until you can.The Armed Forces will not accept drop outs or Academically weak applicants.Study, don't smoke and get strong.Good Luck
