can you eat defrosted cooked turkey without heating it?

i've recently started weight watchers diet and one of my main meals is 100g of diced turkey and microwaved steamed veg and i've been getting busy lately and trying to find ways of cutting corners :) just wondering if its safe if i cooked all the meat the day i buy it and then separate and freeze it and then eat it straight away when its defrosted? or do i have to re-heat it thoroughly again?
 
If it's been properly cooked, frozen and then defrosted you should be able to eat it cold. I've done that and not suffered from food poisoning.
